Consent to the collecting and processing of personal data
In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), we hereby inform you that your personal data will be processed for the purpose of executing the contracted service with the Viral Vectors Production Unit of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and to provide updates during its development.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR) and the execution of a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, as the data controller, will not transfer your personal data to third parties or other recipients without your consent, except in cases legally provided for or when required by law, and your data will not be subject to international transfer.
Your data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing and as long as you maintain your relationship with the Viral Vectors Production Unit (UPV).
The processing of your personal data does not involve automated decision-making, nor the creation of predictive profiles of personal preferences, behaviors, or attitudes.
In accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, you may revoke your consent at any time and exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability by sending a request to the data controller (privacy.policy.upv@uab.cat), or to the General Secretariat of the UAB, Bellaterra university campus, Rectorate Building, Pça. Acadèmica, 08193, Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès) (sec.general@uab.cat), attaching a copy of your ID card or any other document that identifies you to the request.
You may also file complaints with the Catalan Data Protection Authority http://apdcat.gencat.cat/ca/inici/) and consult the Data Protection Officer of the UAB (proteccio.dades@uab.cat).
